# Portal tour

> A guided look at the header, account menu, and event menu of the PLVR Business Portal.

The portal has two levels of navigation: a **header** across the top for organization-wide pages, and a **side menu** that appears when you are inside an event.

## The header

The header links to the organization-level pages. Which links you see depends on your role.

| Link | What it is for | Who sees it |
| - | - | - |
| **Events** | Your list of events. See [Events overview](/events/overview). | Everyone |
| **Table Booking** | Table reservations. See [Table booking](/other/table-booking). | Owners, admins and managers |
| **Audience** | Attendee insights across your events. See [Audience](/organization/audience). | Everyone |
| **Team** | Team members and roles. See [Team and roles](/organization/team). | Owners and admins |
| **Organization** | Your public profile and settings. See [Organization settings](/organization/settings). | Owners, admins and managers |

On a small screen the links are collected behind a **Menu** button.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If you open a page your role does not allow, you see **Access denied** with a **Back to home** link. See [Team and roles](/organization/team) for what each role can do.

## The account menu

The account menu at the right of the header shows your organization's logo and your email address. Open it to:

* **Switch organization.** Every organization you belong to is listed with your role in it, and a check mark shows the current one. Select another to switch; you land on that organization's Events page and see a "Switched to" confirmation.
* **Create organization.** Opens the form for setting up another organization. See the [Quickstart](/getting-started/quickstart).
* **Change the appearance.** Choose light, dark, or system theme.
* **Log out.** Ends your session.

> [!TIP]
>
> If you have unsaved changes on a page, the portal asks you to confirm before you navigate away, switch organization, or log out. Select **Leave without Saving** only if you are happy to lose your edits.

## The event menu

When you open an event, a side menu appears on the left. At the top it shows the event's image and name, with a **view Event** link that opens the public event page.

The menu lists:

* **Overview**: sales and performance. See [Event overview](/events/overview).
* **Event Editor**: the public event page. See [Event editor](/events/event-editor).
* **Tickets**: Ticket Report, Ticket Management and Comp Tickets. See [Ticket report](/tickets/ticket-report).
* **PLVR Tap**: Top-up Setup, Vendor Setup, Approvals, Cashless Activity and Spending Report. See [PLVR Tap](/tap/introduction).
* **Onsite Operations**: the day-of-event console. See [Command Center](/onsite/command-center).
* **Onsite Staff**: staff for your event. See [Onsite staff](/onsite/onsite-staff).
* **Promotions**: Promo Codes, Campaigns, Door Sales, Tracking Links and Affiliates. See [Promo codes](/promotions/promo-codes).
* **Registration Form**: questions asked at checkout. See [Registration form](/events/registration-form).
* **Personalization Form**: see [Personalization form](/tap/personalization-form).
* **Payment Links**: see [Payment links](/other/payment-links).
* **RSVP**: see [RSVP](/events/rsvp).
* **Followers**: see [Followers](/events/followers).

> [!NOTE]
>
> **PLVR Tap** and **Personalization Form** only appear for events that use PLVR Tap. On a ticket-only event they are not shown. When there are attendees or vendors waiting for a decision under **Approvals**, a count appears beside it.

## Getting back

Select **Events** in the header to return to your event list from anywhere inside an event.
