# Team and roles

> Add team members to your organization, choose their roles, and remove them.

The **Team** page, titled **Team Management**, is where you control who can work in your organization and what they can do. Open it from **Team** in the header.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Only owners and admins can open the Team page. Managers and scanners do not see the link, and opening the address directly shows **Access denied**.

## Roles

When you add or edit a member you choose one of three roles:

| Role | Access |
| - | - |
| **Admin** | Full access to PLVR Business and PLVR Scan. |
| **Manager** | Access to PLVR Business and PLVR Scan, except Team Management. |
| **Scanner** | Access to PLVR Scan only (ticket scanning). |

Every organization also has an **owner**, the person who created it. The owner appears in the member list but cannot be edited or removed from this page.

## The member list

The table shows each **Member** and their **Role**. Long lists are split into pages of 15. Each row, except the owner's, has two icon buttons: a pencil to edit and a bin to remove.

## Add a team member

**1. Select Add**

Select **Add** at the top of the page. The **Add a Team Member** window opens.

**2. Fill in the details**

* **Name**: required. Enter the person's full name.
* **Email**: required, and it must be a valid email address.
* **Role**: required. Choose Admin, Manager or Scanner. Each option shows a short description.

**3. Save**

Select **Save**. You see "Updating..." and then "\<email> has been added to your workspace", and the person appears in the list.

## Change a member's role

Select the pencil on their row. In **Edit Team Member**, name and email are locked; you can only change the **Role**. Select **Save** and you see "\<email> has been updated".

> [!WARNING]
>
> If you change your own role to one that cannot access the Team page, you may lose access to it straight away.

## Remove a member

Select the bin on their row. A **Remove member** confirmation asks "Are you sure you want to remove ... from your workspace?" Select **Remove member** to confirm, or **Cancel**. You see "\<email> has been removed".
