# Guides by team

Pick the team that matches your job. Each page lists what you can do, the pages worth bookmarking, and a short checklist.

## What each organization role can access

Every team member has one of these roles in your organization. The owner is the person who created it. See [Team and roles](/organization/team) for how to add people and change roles.

If you open a page your role does not allow, you see **Access denied**. Scanners are intended for ticket scanning in PLVR Scan, so most scanner work happens outside the Business Portal.

> Roles in the table are organization roles. People who work at the event itself, such as gate, wristband and top-up teams, sign in with a login code instead. See [Onsite staff](/onsite/onsite-staff) and the [Scanning team page](/roles/scanning-team).
