# Scenario: Group Packages with Bundles

> Sell packs such as a Group of 4 at a better per-ticket price, and understand how bundles use your ticket inventory.

**Goal:** Encourage groups to buy together by offering a pack of tickets at a better price than buying them one by one.

## What a bundle is

A **bundle** is one product that contains several copies of a ticket. Example:

| Item | Includes | Price |
| - | - | - |
| General Admission | 1 ticket | \$30 |
| Group of 4 | General Admission x 4 | \$100 |

A buyer of the Group of 4 pays $100 instead of $120, a \$5 saving per person.

## How bundles use your inventory

Bundles draw from the same ticket inventory as the ticket they include. If General Admission has 300 tickets and you sell one Group of 4, 4 General Admission tickets are used up, and the General Admission table shows 4 more sold.

You can also cap the number of packs with **Max Bundle Sales**. For example, if you only want to sell 20 Group packs, set it to 20. Even then, the pack can only sell while the underlying ticket still has enough left.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Bundles appear in the same table as tickets in [Ticket Management](/tickets/ticket-management). In the edit panel, the **Included Tickets** line shows what the bundle contains, for example "General Admission x 4".

## Manage a bundle

**1. Find it**

Open [Ticket Management](/tickets/ticket-management) and search for the bundle name, or find it under its session.

**2. Open Edit Bundle**

Select the pencil icon at the end of the row.

**3. Set the price and cap**

Enter the **Price** and **Max Bundle Sales**. Select **How Fees Work** to preview what the buyer pays and what you receive.

**4. Set the sale window and limits**

Choose **Sales Start Date** and **Sales End Date**, and optionally **Limit Qty per Order** or **Limit Qty per User**.

**5. Turn it on**

Set the **Status** to **Active**, then **Save**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Like tickets, a bundle's **Name** and **Price** cannot be changed once it has sold. Bundles cannot be part of a release chain.

## Reporting and promo codes

* In the [Ticket Report](/tickets/ticket-report), tickets bought through a bundle show the bundle's name beneath the ticket name.
* A [promo code](/promotions/promo-codes) can be limited to a specific bundle, so you can give a partner an extra discount on the pack only.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Creating a new bundle is not something this portal offers. Contact your PLVR representative if you want a new bundle added to your event.
