The Event Editor lets you edit your event page directly. It is laid out like the page buyers see, so what you edit is what they get. Open it from Event Editor in the event menu. Next to each editable item is a pencil icon. Select it to edit that item, then confirm. Nothing is published until you select Save Event at the top right.

What you can edit

The cover image at the top left of the page. Images are cropped to a square when you upload them, and are resized to at most 1200 by 1200 pixels. If the event has no main image, the page shows “Main image is required” and you cannot save.
Select the pencil beside the name, type the new name, and confirm. The confirm button stays disabled while the name is empty. Press Enter to confirm or Escape to cancel.
Select the pencil beside the time. Pick a date and time for Start and End. The start time is required.
  • The end time must be after the start time.
  • If you move the start past the end, the end moves to one hour after the new start.
  • Once an event has an end time, you cannot clear it here, only change it.
  • Times use the event’s own time zone, which is shown beside them and cannot be changed in the editor.
The strip beside the ticket price controls what buyers see before they buy. Select its pencil to edit.Price label replaces the ticket price shown on the page. Leave it blank to keep the default, which is the ticket price.
  • Up to 12 characters of plain text, or up to 28 characters if it includes the lowest ticket price.
  • To include the current lowest price, select Insert lowest price. This adds a placeholder that is replaced with the live price. It is the only placeholder you can use.
Button text is the wording on the purchase button. Leave it blank to keep the default, “Buy now”.
  • Up to 8 characters.
  • Letters and spaces only. No numbers, punctuation or emoji.
The editor shows a message under the field if something is not allowed.
The event description. Select the pencil to open the text editor. Long text is shortened with a See all toggle. The description cannot be empty.
Optional additional terms shown on the event page, edited the same way as About.

Shown but not editable here

Some parts of the page come from the event’s details and have no pencil, so you can’t change them here: the date and location lines under the name, age or other restrictions, the line-up of artists, the organizing organizations, and the venue (with an Open in map link). Below the preview you will find Checkout consent: the checkboxes buyers tick when they buy a ticket or RSVP. Each one saves on its own with its own Save button, separately from Save Event.
  • Required consent. Every buyer must tick this before paying. It is always shown and cannot be turned off. PLVR’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy always come first and are locked; anything you add continues after them in the same checkbox. You can use bold text and links. Ready-made snippets such as house rules, an age restriction and photography are offered as starting points.
  • Marketing consent. An optional, separate checkbox for buyers who want updates from you. It is off unless you turn on its switch. It always starts unticked and can never be required. State who is writing and which channels you will use.
Each consent has a length limit, and a counter shows how much you have used. A Buyer checkout preview updates as you type.

Saving

Save Event is at the top right. It is enabled only when you have made a change and all required fields are valid. While saving it reads “Saving…”, then you see “Event updated successfully”. If it fails you see “Failed to save. Please try again.” When you save, your event name, description, terms, price label and button text are checked for words that are not allowed. If any are found, you see a message listing them and nothing is saved until you revise the text.
If you leave the page with unsaved changes, you are asked to confirm. Choosing Leave without Saving discards your edits.
