The Wristbands workspace is for Tap events only. On a Ticket-only event it isn’t shown, and a direct visit says “This event doesn’t use wristbands.” Open it from the Command Center.
Balances belong to people, not to wristbands. Replacing a band doesn’t move money, and freezing a band doesn’t freeze the balance. To stop spending, freeze the wallet from the participant’s profile. See Participants.

Wristband list

The list shows one row per wristband.

Find a wristband

Search by wristband ID, Ticket ID or holder email and select Search. All lists every band; Not working lists bands that are stopped. Lists show 25 per page.

Row actions

Each opens the standard action panel (see Tickets & Entry) with a reason picker and a “What will happen / What will not happen” summary. For example, freezing a band leaves the balance and the ticket unchanged; taking a band off leaves the balance, entry history and past purchases untouched. Bind to ticket does what the event is set up to do. If binding also checks the person in, the panel reads Put a wristband on and check in; otherwise it reads Put a wristband on, and the person enters when they tap at the gate. You don’t choose between them.

Add wristbands

Select + Add wristbands to register spare bands before doors open.
1

Enter the bands

In Wristband UIDs or printed IDs, enter one per line. A scanner that sends a new line after each tap will fill the box as you tap bands in turn. Separators don’t matter: 04:A2:B3 and 04a2b3 are the same band. Duplicates are ignored, and the button shows how many bands are ready.
2

Add an optional note

Use Note to record which box the bands came from.
3

Select Add

The button reads Add N bands. You can add at most 200 at a time.
The bands become available on this event so they can be bound when someone collects one. This creates no wallet and binds nothing. The result shows each band separately, because partial success is normal. A band can be newly registered, already available, or refused with a reason. Check each line: a band shown as newly registered when you expected an existing one usually means a mistyped ID. Select Add more to continue or Done to close.

Wristband page

Select a band to open its page. The header shows the tag UID and when it was bound, or “Not bound to any ticket”. A Binding blocked label appears if a bind is in conflict. Add note opens the case form so you can record something about this band. See Service cases.

Summary cards

  • Tag UID: with a copy button. If a band was added before its UID was kept, it shows “Not recorded”; re-add it with a reader to record it.
  • Band status: Working, Frozen, Stopped or Not issued, with the reason.
  • Bound to: the ticket and holder, or “Nothing”. An unbound band belongs to nobody.
  • Wallet link: the holder’s balance, with a reminder that it lives on the person, not this band.

Band history and bindings

Band history lists every recorded action on this band with time, action, operator, reason and result. Refused attempts are kept on purpose; a blocked action is evidence. Bindings lists every ticket the band has been bound to, with when it was bound and ended, the reason, and whether it is Active. Replaced and unbound bindings are kept, so “which band did they have then” can always be answered.

Available actions

The Available actions panel lists the actions for this band. Each one says what it does and what it leaves alone. An action that can’t be used right now says why instead of showing a button. Most of these ask for a reason. See Tickets & Entry for how the action panel works.

Restricted actions

Put a wristband on anyway and Force rebind the wristband are marked Restricted and only a supervisor can use them. Both need:
  • a written account of at least 12 characters in What did you verify?, and
  • the confirmation tick box.
The panel warns that this overrides a refusal and is recorded against your name.

Ownership conflicts

If you arrive at a band’s page because a ticket tried to bind a band that is already bound, the page shows an Ownership conflict panel. It compares Currently bound with Requesting bind, side by side: ticket, when it was bound, entry, and cashless activity. Whoever has entry history and spending on the band has been using it. Rebinding detaches both people from the band they are wearing, so resolve ownership before moving anything. The safe route is Investigate ownership, which opens the case form already set to an ownership conflict, so you can record what happened and escalate it. A supervisor can use Force rebind the wristband once ownership is settled.
