Onsite Operations is the desk console for the day of your event. You open it from Onsite Operations in the event sidebar. The first screen, the Command Center, answers two questions: is the floor healthy right now, and what needs doing next. The page header shows the event name, start time, timezone, and whether this is a Tap event or a Ticket-only event. The event type decides what you can do in the console:
  • Ticket-only event: guests enter by QR scan, or by manual check-in when a code won’t scan. There are no wristbands and no cashless wallet, so those screens and actions don’t appear.
  • Tap event: guests enter by tapping a wristband. QR and manual check-in are not available. Wristbands and Cashless workspaces are shown. See PLVR Tap.
The Command Center refreshes itself about every 30 seconds, so you don’t need to reload the page to see new cases.

Find a guest

The large search box at the top is the main control, because most desk interactions start with someone arriving with a problem. Type any identifier and select Search: a Ticket ID, email, wristband, order number, or a payment or top-up reference. The type is detected for you. You need at least three characters before Search becomes available. Results open on the Search page.

Open a service case

Select + New service case at the top right to record a problem raised at the desk. See Service cases for the form and what happens next.

Summary cards

Operational health

When the floor is not running normally, a banner appears under the cards: Operational health: Degraded or Operational health: Incident, with a sentence explaining why. When everything is stable, no banner is shown.

Attention queue

The attention queue lists open cases, ordered by risk and then by how long the person has been waiting. The first eight are shown; select View all to see every case. Each row shows:
  • The type of problem and why it needs attention.
  • A review type label, if the case has been sent for review.
  • Unmatched, if the case was raised against something the desk typed in but nobody was identified yet.
  • A risk label (High, Medium or Normal) and how long the person has been waiting.
Select a row to open the case. Risk is separate from case status: a case can be Open and High risk at the same time.

Workspaces

The Workspaces panel links to each part of the console:

Desk activity

The Desk activity panel shows how much work the desk has done over the last 30 minutes, broken down by category with a bar for each. It counts recorded actions, not lookups. Searches aren’t recorded, so this shows work done, not people seen.

Floor alerts

If several failures cluster together, a Floor alerts panel appears with a summary, detail, and a suggested action for each. Alerts are marked high or medium severity. This panel is hidden when there are no alerts.
