Table booking is organization setup. It appears as Table Booking in the top navigation only for owners, admins and managers. Anyone else who opens a table booking link is sent to a “no access” page.
Set up table booking
The first time you open Table Booking, you see Set Up Table Booking. Add your venue’s details first, then the tables guests can book. Only one table booking is created per organization.1
Fill in the details
Complete the form described under Settings. Name and Currency are required.
2
Select Create Table Booking
You are taken straight to Tables, because nothing can be booked onsite until it has tables.
3
Add your tables
See Tables.
Settings
Table Booking Settings covers the name, currency, venue and images guests see when booking a table.
The currency choices are USD, SGD, HKD, THB, KRW, PHP, IDR, MYR, TWD, JPY, CAD, EUR and CNY.
Select Save Changes to apply; it is only available once you have changed something.
Status
Table booking cannot be deleted. While it is Inactive, it is hidden from onsite until you set it back to Active. An inactive table booking shows “Inactive” in the sidebar. If saving fails because a venue is needed, the message appears under Venue. Pick a venue and save again.Tables
The Tables page lists the tables guests can book, with the capacity and minimum spend each table order starts from. Use Search to filter by table name.
Capacity and minimum spend are defaults that prefill a table order onsite. Each order can still change them.
Add tables
Select Add Tables to add several at once.1
Fill in the first row
Enter Name, Default Capacity and Minimum Spend. Name can be up to 64 characters. Capacity is a whole number from 1 to 100. Minimum spend is entered in whole currency units, such as 5000.00, and can’t be negative.
2
Add more rows
Select Add Row. The next row picks up where the last name left off (A1 becomes A2, T09 becomes T10) and keeps the same capacity and spend. A name without a trailing number is left blank for you to type. You can add up to 100 rows in one go, and remove a row with the bin icon.
3
Add the tables
Select Add N Tables. A message confirms how many were added.
